Grow Compost Product Offerings

Our compost and living soil blends are available at the Grow Farm by the gallon or the cubic yard. You can scoop any amount you need at our self-serve Organics Bar, either into your own container or into our refillable Grow Bags. We can deliver up to 10 cubic yards at a time to just about anywhere in Vermont, as well. Open Monday through Friday, 8 am-4 pm and Saturdays 8 am-Noon for food waste drop off and compost purchasing.

A gardener’s best friend! Grow Compost results from the controlled decomposition of selected hay, grain, manure, and bedding from Vermont’s finest farms, coffee chaff, burlap, bark and plant material, food scraps, mineral amendments, and occasional leaves. Our compost is fully cured.

USE:
Soil amendment. Till into garden beds, use as topdressing, or add in a handful when transplanting.

Grow Garden is a balanced, nutrient-rich mix with optimal soil structure for plant growth. It promotes strong root systems and builds disease resistance.

A blend of compost, sphagnum peat moss, vermiculite, and minerals, Grow Seed is blended from hand-selected organic material to provide the perfect growing media for seed germination and young plants.

USE:
An ideal seed starting mix or potting soil, with high air volume and water holding capacity. Excellent for seedlings — from germination to transplanting.
